Workflow guide
Bring Claude Code and Codex into one project workflow
Different coding agents can be useful for different parts of a project. Orbit gives you one desktop workspace to organize their sessions, terminals, files, and handoffs while each agent uses its own provider account.
01
Start with a project workspace
Open or create an Orbit workspace for the repository you are working on. Keep the project files and agent sessions in view while you decide which task to give each agent.
02
Run separate tasks in separate sessions
Use one session for implementation and another for review, investigation, or a separate task. Orbit helps you monitor the sessions together; you remain responsible for reviewing changes and resolving conflicts.
03
Write a useful handoff
Before moving a task to another agent, capture the goal, decisions, files touched, and remaining work. A short, specific handoff gives the next session a clearer starting point.
Agent availability and behavior depend on the provider CLI installed on your machine and that provider's own account and terms.
